Terms of use
The terms that apply to using the Resource Center and the materials you download from it.
Draft — needs review before launch
These terms reflect how the Resource Center actually operates, but they have not been reviewed by counsel and are not enforceable as drafted. Have a lawyer review them and add the governing-law and entity details before launch.
Using the Resource Center
Every resource currently published here is free to use. Some ask for your name and email once before opening; that single unlock applies across the whole site. There is no subscription, no paid tier and no membership requirement for any current resource.
You may not:
- scrape or bulk-download the library, or attempt to bypass the unlock on gated resources
- republish our materials as your own product, or resell them
- remove or obscure attribution where a resource carries it
Templates and downloadable documents
Templates are supplied for you to adapt and use inside your own organisation. You may re-brand them, edit them and issue them as your own internal policy documents. No attribution is required.
What you may not do is package them for sale or distribute them as a competing resource library.
Adapting a template does not make it correct for your jurisdiction. Review any policy language against the rules that apply to you, and have counsel review it before you adopt it.
Calculators and estimates
Calculators are planning tools. Their output is an estimate based on the figures you enter, and it is not a certification, a determination or a filing.
Where a calculator’s formula has not completed review, the tool says so and returns no result. Do not treat the absence of a result as a value of zero.
Not legal or professional advice
Everything here is educational. It is not legal, tax, accounting or human resources advice, and using it does not create a professional relationship between us.
Regulations differ by jurisdiction and change frequently. We aim to re-version materials within 30 days of a change that affects them, and every generated download is built from the current version of its page — but you remain responsible for verifying anything you rely on against the current rule text.
Accuracy and availability
We work to keep materials accurate and take corrections seriously — if you spot something wrong, the contact page is the fastest route. We do not, however, warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or that every resource is free of error.
Third-party links
We link to regulations, agency guidance and other external sources. Those sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content.
Limitation of liability
[counsel to draft — this clause is jurisdiction-specific and has been left deliberately blank rather than guessed at]
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised version.
